BAFTA 2022 Film Awards: Tom Hiddleston holds hands with girlfriend Zawe Ashton who dazzles in pink<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton put on a beloved display at this year\u2019s BAFTA 2022 Film Awards on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actor, 40, looked smitten with his actress girlfriend, 37, as the pair held hands as they dressed in brand new for the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tom looked devilishly handsome in a black blazer and trousers, as he posed hand-in-hand with Zawe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cozy: Tom Hiddleston, 40, and Zawe Ashton, 37, presented a beloved exhibit at this year\u2019s BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He paired the suit with a white shirt and completed his look with a black bow tie and white pocket square.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zawe looked effortlessly stunning in a flowy pink maxi dress with an attached cape for added drama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her brunette locks were slicked back and poker styled, while she added a touch of sparkle to her look with a pair of diamond earrings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zawe and Tom confirmed their romance during a steamy PDA-filled Ibiza beach vacation in September last year before making their red carpet debut together at the Tony Awards in New York City later that month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dune topped the British Academy Film Awards which took place at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday night, while The Power Of The Dog took home Best Picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sci-fi film swept the board as it picked up five of its eleven nominations for the 75th awards show which saw diversity triumph, with Lashana Lynch winning rising star, deaf actor Troy Kotsur awarded for supporting actor and West Side Story\u2019s Ariana Debose accepting the supporting actress. gong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joanna Scanlan, 60, won the lead actress award for her performance in the Aleem Khan-directed drama After Love and Will Smith, 53, won the lead actor gong for his role in King Richard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The politically charged show returned after a two-year delay with host Rebel Wilson giving Vladmir Putin the middle finger, while many stars wore black and Ukrainian ribbons as a sign of solidarity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dune received the award for Special Visual Effects, Sound, Production Design, Cinematography, and Original Score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first of a two-part adaptation of Frank Herbert\u2019s 1965 sci-fi novel, directed by Denis Villeneuve, was awarded Best Cinematography by Naomi Campbell and Ru-Paul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hans Zimmer was again recognized in the Original Music category after battling against Being The Ricardos, Don\u2019t Look Up, The French Dispatch and The Power of the Dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, Dune lost the Best Picture gong to the gritty Western film The Power of the Dog. Director Jane Campion was unable to attend the ceremony, so producer Tanya Seghatchian accepted it on her behalf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lead actress Joanna admitted to being overwhelmed by her success when she took the stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said, \u2018Oh come on! Some stories have surprising endings, don\u2019t they?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joanna faced competition from Lady Gaga, Alana Haim, Emilia Jones, Tessa Thompson and Renate Reinsve for the award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But she explained on stage that the film \u2013 which tells the story of a widow who discovers her late husband\u2019s secret family \u2013 was made with \u201cblood, sweat and tears\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier in the night, Will Smith won the best actor gong for his role in \u2018King Richard\u2019. The Hollywood star starred as Richard Williams \u2013 the father of tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams \u2013 in the hit film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The success marked the first BAFTA win of Will\u2019s career, but he was unable to attend the ceremony in London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the organizers\u2019 vows to improve diversity among the nominated stars, the ceremony saw the likes of Bond star Lashana take to the stage, hailing his working-class past after winning the Rising Star award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 34-year-old actress played MI6 agent Nomi in James Bond\u2019s No Time to Die.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said: \u2018Thank you to everyone who voted. Wow thank you to everyone involved in No Time To Die, my career, my parents, my grandparents who came from Jamaica \u2013 the Windrush generation. I am grateful to them for my existence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am proud to come from a working family, I was taught failure, no and how to celebrate yes. Now I can celebrate a yes, I didn\u2019t expect it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI want to thank the women who taught me how to be in this industry as a dark-skinned woman. Thank you for laying the groundwork for people like me. I appreciate that. Thank you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
